    • DESCRIPTION

      Chevre Chagrin Sully Goat Leather comes from the Alran Tannery in France. The Alran tannery has been producing some of the finest goat leather for luxury brands for over 100 years. They are well known for their premium goat leather and the beautiful colors they are able to produce. 

      The leather is tanned in a full veg-tanned crust and then retanned and dyed with some mineral tannage to add softness and strength at thinner thicknesses. Saffiano has a nice balance of firm and supple. We receive their very top grades 1 2 which are very clean. The hides are a nice size ranging from 4-7 sqft, which are perfect for both small leathergoods and handbags. 

      When you combine the unique grain, great temper, durability and beautiful consistent colors across the entire hide, you see and feel the leather you will see why it is a popular article for everyday luxury items
